Arletia Mayfield, an ordained minister, chaplain and missionary is the founder of The Prophetic Scribe Ministries, a literary ministry with an 18-year legacy. Her mission is to empower Kingdom scribes by imparting the wisdom to craft and preserve the testimony of Christ as experienced through their lives, ensuring it resonates for generations to come.
The Blog
The Prophetic Scribe, – Online Magazine for 21st Century Scribes, is a place where Christian writers can discover their identity as Kingdom of God scribes. The focus is on legacy writing—to leave a testimony of Christ for future generations.
Whether your scribal calling is creative, administrative, educational, technical, or prophetic, you will learn how to hone your unique writing style to share your testimony through short stories, memoirs, poetry, blogging, or whatever you are called to write.
The Publisher
In 2010, Arletia expanded her impact by establishing The Prophetic Scribe Publications (TPS Publications), a digital publishing company committed to producing innovative tools that effectively teach biblical principles and passionately promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Arletia’s artistic talent shines through in her diverse array of creations offered through TPS Publications, including inspiring poems, books, instructive Bible study materials, and heartfelt greeting cards. Her talents extend to crafting Christian scripts for skits and plays under the TPS Publications division, House of Skits
The Training & Education
Arletia Mayfield was ordained alongside her husband, Franklin, at their home church, Southside Christian Fellowship in McDonough, GA. The ordination, led by Senior Pastor Eddie Mason, was conducted through the laying on of hands in the presence of the congregation, elders, and five-fold ministry, and was approved by the Board of Directors. Additionally, since April 2018, she has been a registered Deacon Minister and Mentor for the Christian Leaders Alliance. They were ordained as chaplains through the Inter-Americas Chaplains Association in Florida.

Through dance, tears, and service, Arletia’s worship is a testimonial to her profound spiritual connection with God. Her ministry is evidence of a life devoted to integrating art, creative writing, and sound biblical teaching to draw people closer to the Lord, Jesus Christ.
Arletia is a skilled speaker, Bible study teacher, and captivating storyteller. With a media career spanning four decades, she hosts internet radio and television shows and speaks at live events, leaving a lasting impression on her audience with her delightful stories and engaging presence.
The Team
Arletia and Franklin Mayfield have been married for more than 13 years. Franklin is a Bible scholar, chaplain, missionary, ordained minister, and Kingdom entrepreneur focused on media technology and language translations. They reside in Central Florida, where they serve a local church and ministries worldwide with media technology solutions that amplify the Gospel. Since 2017, they have lived and traveled full-time across the U.S. in their 36-foot motorhome called, Glory to Glory. Sometimes, they travel in their trusty minivan called Granny Vannie or by plane when called abroad.
The Assignment
Arletia guides Christian writers in their transformation into Kingdom scribes. By identifying their unique scribal gifts, she effectively assists them in crafting stories that “unlock” the hearts of God’s people, liberating them from bondage and empowering them to walk in freedom, strength, and victory.
