We are not an accident. We are not a result of animals evolving into humans. We are not the order that came out of chaos. We are God’s creation. God is our Creator. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3. Contrary to popular opinion, the Bible is not a book of fiction. It is a historical document with archaeological and scientific proof backing it up. However, all of the proof in the world may not be enough for you if you have no faith.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1.
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
The Romans Road to Salvation is a series of Bible verses from the Book of Romans that present a clear path to understanding and accepting salvation through Jesus Christ. Here are the key scriptures:
- Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
- Romans 6:23 – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
- Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
- Romans 10:9-10 – “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
- Romans 10:13 – “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
These verses outline the need for salvation, the consequences of sin, God’s provision through Jesus Christ, and the steps to receive salvation. After meditating on these scriptures and opening your heart to receive Christ by faith, you can pray a prayer of agreement.
A prayer of Salvation
Dear Lord Jesus,
I come to you today acknowledging that I am a sinner. Your Word says in Romans 3:23 that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” I admit that I have fallen short and need your forgiveness.
I understand that the wages of sin is death, as stated in Romans 6:23, but I am grateful that the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thank you for offering me this precious gift of eternal life.
Romans 5:8 tells me that “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, and I thank you for your love and sacrifice.
Your Word promises in Romans 10:9-10 that “if you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Lord, I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. Please come into my heart and be the Lord of my life.
Romans 10:13 reassures me that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” So, I call on your name, Jesus, and ask you to save me. Cleanse me from my sins, and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you.
Thank you for your grace and mercy. Thank you for the gift of salvation. I trust in you and surrender my life to you.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Blessings, The Prophetic Scribe
