When I entered college, my major was Legal Assistant, but one day I met a man named Bob who listened to my poetry and told me that I was too creative to waste it in a field that I would not enjoy. So, I changed my major to Radio/TV Broadcasting.
What changes did the Holy Spirit make in you, once you received Christ? Briefly describe your transformation?
This poem is an excerpt from the book entitled, For the Love of God, A Collection of Praise and Worship poems by The Prophetic Scribe.
In certain seasons, God has called me to praise him in dance, but in this season He also ministered to me about banners, ensigns, flags and lifting a standard before his people. This is what I learned in the process of studying what God was speaking to me about so I could understand and obey exactly what God is commanding me to do.
A mentor once gave us an exercise to spiritually discern what part of the body we represent in the body of Christ.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted
The children of Israel were wearing Moses down with their complaining and issues. Jethro saw that Moses’ burden of being the leader of all these people and dealing with their issues from sun up to sun down every day was too much for one man to bear.
The Bible tells us to Fear Not. However, fearing God is the key to not fearing anything else. The Prophetic Scribe explains why the fear
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Take note that we are to go before the throne of grace BEFORE we sin, not afterwards. It is this grace that prevents us from sinning.
